Marc Robert Steinberg has been the Managing Partner of Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford since 1980, and has been a member of the firm since 1976. He has been litigating civil and criminal cases in Federal and State Courts for over 37 years, and actively continues to do so. Mr. Steinberg is the only attorney in Bucks or Montgomery County to be certified as a Criminal Trial Attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and recognized by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.  He is certified under Rule 801 of the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure to handle Death Penalty cases. He graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1973, and holds an undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Steinberg is a former Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney. He is Past President of the Montgomery Trial Lawyers Association and the Montgomery American Inn of Court, which he helped organize and start. He is Past President of the Montgomery Bar Association. He sat as a Director of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PACDL). He completed six years as a member of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board Hearing Committee 2.09, the last year as chairman. Since 1997, he has served as a Civil Discovery Master for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. He is a co-founder of the Criminal Defense Law Committee of the Montgomery Bar Association and served as its chairman or co-chairman from 1988 until 1996. Mr. Steinberg is currently the Chairman of the Bench-Bar Committee. He also is a member of the Criminal Rules Committee. Mr. Steinberg sits on the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association from Zone 9. He is a frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the Montgomery Bar Association in criminal and civil areas. He teaches Advanced Trial Advocacy at Temple University School of Law, where he has been teaching law students the art of trial advocacy for the past 20 years. Since 2007, Mr. Steinberg has been serving as a Committee Member on the Pennsylvania Joint State Government Commission Advisory Committee on Wrongful Convictions.

Mr. Steinberg is the President of the Board of Directors of the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project (MCAP), a non-profit corporation which provides free legal services to abused children involved in court cases, which he helped organize in 2000.

In 2005, he was named the Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Montgomery Trial Lawyers Association.

In 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, he was named one of Pennsylvania's "Super Lawyers" by a poll of his peers as published in Philadelphia Magazine, and in 2008 and again in 2010, he was named as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Philadelphia and PennsylvaniaIn 2010, he was named a "Best Lawyer in America" as published in Philadelphia Magazine by US News.

He enjoys playing tennis, reading and playing with his grandchildren.
