Associate Ross M. Miller joined the firm in 2012 and practices in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he handled civil litigation in automobile and premises liability and insurance fraud matters. From 2008 through 2012, he was a trial attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia where he represented indigent defendants in hundreds of pre-trial hearings, motions and trials. After being promoted to the Major Trials Unit he tried numerous major felony jury trials, including charges of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Sex Offenses, Gun Offenses, Drug Crimes and other felony offenses. Prior to his work at the Defenders Association, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John T.J. Kelly of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

At the Temple University Beasley School of Law, he was a member of the Temple National Trial Team. His team won the 2006 National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) Trial Competition, where Ross was presented with a Best Advocate award. His team was also the regional Champion and national Semifinalist in the American Association of Justice Trial Competition. He also served as a member and Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Society and as a member and staff editor of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. He has received many honors and awards including the Trial Advocacy Barrister Award, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyer's Association James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy, the Moot Court Alumni Award and the Lena L. Hale Award for Outstanding Extracurricular Activities. While in law school he worked as a law clerk in the Appeals Division of the Federal Community Defender Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and at the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender.
