Pennsylvania prep school graduates arrested for running large drug ring

Some Pennsylvanians may think that they can identify drug dealers and drug ring operators, but sometimes they are more difficult to detect. In some cases, people who are arrested for drug trafficking appear harmless to most people, making their drug rings even more difficult to uncover.

Some students at high schools and colleges were surprised to learn that two Pennsylvania prep school graduates had been running a drug operation for some time. The pair had established their presence at a host of schools in eastern Pennsylvania, including Lafayette College and Haverford College. Although some students had some inkling that the two were involved in selling drugs, they said they were not aware of the large size of the operation.

Law enforcement found that the people connected with the alleged drug ring had possessed large quantities of illegal drugs such as marijuana and cocaine, as well as an assault rifle and $11,000 cash. In addition to the two men who are believed to be ring leaders, law enforcement arrested nine other people who allegedly had some connection to the drug ring. The operation was based in Montgomery County, but spanned across a handful of other counties, including Chester and Adams counties. It is quite possible that the two leaders had plans to expand to the entire state.

It is likely that the two ring leaders, and the other people involved, will face serious consequences, especially because they had the intent to distribute the drugs that they possessed. Anyone who is facing charges for drug possession, drug distribution, or any other drug crime may want to talk to a defense attorney as soon as possible.
