According to authorities, a 48-year-old man from a few hours away from Philadelphia was involved in an accident in Pennsylvania earlier this month. The fatal car crash took the life of a 20-year-old female who was running along the side of the highway.

Four school buses from Pennsylvania involved in crash

A crash in a nearby state saw more than 30 people from a Pennsylvania summer camp taken to the hospital. The car accident involved four school buses carrying 9- and 10-year-old children from Camp Lindenmere in Pocono Township, Pennsylvania. Staff members from the camp were also on the buses and injured during the collision. The buses' occupants were on a field trip to an amusement park.

According to reports, the officer was drinking at a golf outing dedicated to a singer who was killed by a drunk driver. The off-duty trooper got behind the wheel of his vehicle and allegedly caused another individual to fall victim to the scourge of drunk driving.

Pennsylvania honor roll student struck, killed by 'smart car'

The death of a 15-year-old student from Carlisle High School in central Pennsylvania has surprised many. The teenager, who was on the honor roll in 2010 and 2011 at his school, was struck and killed in a car accident earlier this month after exiting a school bus.

Suspected driver flees scene of fatal crash in Pottstown

A crash in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, earlier this month has left two people dead and a third critically injured. Police have not apprehended the suspected driver who may have caused the fatal car accident. According a report released by the Montgomery County district attorney and the Pottstown police chief, the 27-year-old suspect has been charged with three counts of accident involving death and personal injury as well as accident involving death and personal injury while not properly licensed.

New law looks to protect cyclists, eliminate accidents

According to the Bicycle Coalition of Philadelphia, the city has the highest rate of bicycle commuters among the 10 most populated cities in the nation. With this information, one would expect that bicycle safety would be of the utmost importance. A new state law is looking to decrease the number of car accidents involving bicyclists by requiring drivers to keep a certain distance when passing those riding on bicycles.

Driver loses friend in crash, now sentenced to jail

An accident in 2010 took the life of a 22-year-old man from Philadelphia. His best friend since childhood was driving at the time of the car crash. According to reports, he will face jail time for the death of his close friend.
