A 66-year-old man is in custody after he was allegedly behind the wheel of a vehicle that collided with two children, killing one of them. The pedestrian accident occurred in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Two children were playing in the yard just before 2 p.m. when the 66-year-old man reportedly drove into the yard. That man is currently in custody at the Lawrence County jail with no bond.

Parents seek damages for dead son with wrongful death suit

The death of a 17-year-old male in Pennsylvania has spawned a lawsuit that names several defendants. According to authorities, the 17-year-old died after he was involved as a passenger in a drunk driving accident. The wrongful death suit alleges that a teenage female, her father, the now-18-year-old driver of the vehicle, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Nemacolin Woodlands Inc. are responsible for the teen's death. The suit was filed by the parents of the deceased.

Charges filed in nonfatal DUI crash case

A crash in Peters Township, Pennsylvania, left two people injured. The drunk driving accident, which occurred last month, has led to charges recently being filed against the alleged drunk driver. No fatalities were reported, and both drivers involved in the two-vehicle crash survived.

The prosecution said that he was the reason a 1-year-old baby girl lost her life during a drunk driving accident. According to authorities, the man had a blood-alcohol content of 0.21, almost three times the legal limit of 0.08 in Pennsylvania.

Allegedly drunk driver takes life of off-duty police officer

The recent death of a Philadelphia police officer has left many in the force shaken and upset. The 48-year-old officer was a 23-year veteran of the force. He had just finished his shift and was on his way to his home in Somerton, Pennsylvania, when he was struck by a drunk driver.
