About North Wales, PA
North Wales is a community located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Presently organized as a borough, much of the community technically lies outside the boundaries of the borough in the outlying township or unorganized communities. Originally settled as a rural agricultural community around the turn of the 18th century by Welsh settlers, by the mid 19th century North Wales began developing its present status as a suburb of Philadelphia with the introduction of railroad lines and later high-speed trolley lines into the city. North Wales is one of the three historic communities that forms the North Penn Valley region; its historic past has been recognized through the North Wales Historic Preservation District, the first historic district in North Penn.
Frequently Asked Questions about Car Accidents in North Wales, PA
Most car accident claims are resolved long before trial or even before they see the inside of a courtroom. Our attorneys work diligently to try to get full and fair compensation for our clients through a negotiated settlement, so that they can avoid the time and expense of litigation in court. Of course, we will never advise you to settle your case for less than the compensation we believe you deserve, and we are always prepared to take your claim to court and to trial if it represents the best opportunity for securing the financial recovery you deserve.
The length of any car accident case will depend on multiple factors, including whether liability is at issue in the case and the severity of your injuries and damages. If the other party accepts liability for your accident and you have suffered relatively minor injuries or have already undergone the treatment required to recover from your injuries, it may be possible to resolve your case through settlement in a matter of a few months. But if liability is being contested and/or you are still undergoing treatment for serious injuries (making it difficult to calculate or estimate your damages) it can take much longer to resolve your case, especially if you need to pursue your claim in court. In court, the timeline of a case will depend on the discovery process and the schedule and availability of the judges overseeing the case.
