Establishing Liability in a Warrington Personal Injury Case
Depending upon the type and severity of the accident, personal injury cases in Warrington can range from the straightforward to the highly complex. Our skilled personal injury lawyers handle all types of personal injury cases, including those that result in:
- Spinal cord damage,
- Traumatic brain injuries,
- Amputations and loss of limbs,
- Broken bones,
- Birth defects, and
These injuries can stem from any number of accidents, and it may not be immediately apparent who the responsible party is in every case. Our team of personal injury lawyers are experienced in investigating these cases to uncover evidence supporting your claim to compensation and have successfully recovered damages for clients injured in:
- Car accidents. Controversy often arises as to which driver caused a car accident, and additional complications can arise when a vehicle is driven by an Uber, Lyft or taxi driver.
- Trucking accidents. Accidents involving commercial trucks and vehicles require determining whether the driver, truck owner, maintenance company, employee leasing agency or other entity can be held liable for injuries sustained in an accident.
- Bus accidents. As in the case of a trucking accident, recovering compensation for injuries sustained in bus accidents requires identifying the responsible party, which in some cases may even include government entities.
- Defective products cases. If the injury was sustained because of a dangerous or defective product, the manufacturer, distributor or even the designer of the product can potentially be held responsible for damages.
- Slip and fall accidents. The property owner in a slip and fall accident case is responsible for maintaining the premises in safe condition. The property owner’s duty will, however, depend upon the type of property involved and whether you were lawfully present on the property.

About Warrington, PA
Warrington is located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and is a suburb of Philadelphia comprised of about 23,418 residents as of the 2010 census. Warrington is located in the Delaware River watershed and has a total area of about 13.8 square miles. The median income for the area is relatively high, at $86,754 per Warrington household and $100,678 per family as of 2007.
Warrington was founded in 1734 and originally consisted of four separate villages that were eventually consolidated into what is today known as Warrington. More recently, in 2010, Warrington was the proposed home of a controversial pharmaceutical warehouse. Strong community opposition forced the company to locate its warehouse further away from Warrington, in Northeast Philadelphia.
Under Pennsylvania law, the statute of limitations for filing a personal injury lawsuit is generally two years from the date of the accident. If a period of time elapses before you discover your injuries, you have two years from the date of discovery to file. Special circumstances exist in the case of minors who are injured so that the minor has two years from the date he or she reaches age 18 to file a lawsuit.
The insurance company is likely to offer you an initial settlement offer that does not adequately account for the expenses that your injury could cause. Because of this, while you are free to settle with the insurance company without legal representation, experienced legal advice can help ensure that your compensation package is fair and complete. Remember that it is the insurance company’s job to minimize the amount they are required to pay in a personal injury case. Our attorneys have decades’ worth of experience negotiating with insurance companies in these cases and are here to make sure your interests are fairly represented.
